Schwinn jumps in the 27.5-inch-wheel game for 2014 with its value-oriented, $750 Rocker 2. The butted aluminum frame features a tapered headtube and bowed seatstays for a smoother ride. It’s built with a 100mm-travel Suntour XCM fork, Shimano Alivio drivetrain, WTB Wolverine tires and Tektro HTC 330 hydraulic disc brakes.

2014 Kona Operator Carbon Insight
The all new Kona Operator features a carbon front end with alloy seat and chain stays. Kona has traditionally focused on making bikes that ride well and last forever, something we can all appreciate.
Kona is investing heavily in engineering and industrial design, and it shows, but the foundation on which the company was built remains. Each design element on the new Operator focuses on providing better durability, ease of service and improved ride experience.

The 2013 Santa Cruz V10
Saturday, October 19, 2013
The Santa Cruz V10 has an incredible pedigree – 64 World Cup podiums, 14 wins and two overall titles. It was also the first carbon fibre downhill bike to win a World Champs.
The back end now features 157mm spacing, for easier wheel installation. Against the current trend, cable routing has been left external, on the behest of the Santa Cruz Syndicate race mechanics. There’s also some tidy armouring, heal-protection padding and fork bumpers built into the frame. Santa Cruz feel strongly that you shouldn’t need to add or stick anything to such a good-looking, light bike.
The 2013 Santa Cruz V10c frame costs US$3,499 (£3,399) with a Fox DHX RC4 shock or $3,599 (£3,469) with a RockShox Vivid Air R2C. Travel can be switched between 8.5in and 10in.
The V10c will also be available as a complete bike. The standard DH1 build costs $7,994 (£6,999) with a RockShox Boxxer World Cup or $8,117 (£7,048) with a Fox 40 RC2.
