Giant Glory 2

With 8 inches of fully active Maestro Suspension mated to a lightweight, super-strong ALUXX SL frame with a co-pivot shock mount, Glory is the only bike in the world that can keep up with 2011 DH World Champion Danny Hart. With geometry that’s tested and race-proven by Hart and his Giant Factory teammates, plus the stout OverDrive steerer tube design, which provides supreme front-end stiffness and control in the rough stuff, it’s the ultimate confidence boost for the most aggressive DH terrain in the world.

Feature Giant Glory 2

  1. RockShox Domain RC Dual Crown suspension fork
  2. RockShox Kage R rear shock
  3. SRAM X5 1x9-speed shifting with Truvativ Ruktion crank and Avid Elixir 5 brakes
  4. Giant P-AM double wall rims, Giant Tracker 20mm (F)/Giant Sealed Bearing 12mm (R) hubs, DT Swiss Competition butted spokes wheelset
  5. Sizes: S, M, L
  6. Color: Satin Black/Red/Blue

It’s fair to say the 2013 Glory 0 is bad ass! It looks rad in a mixture of chrome and gloss black with bright blue logos and detailing, and combined with a top spec package screams “factory!” All this comes at a price and the Glory 0 comes in at £4999.99, but with Boxxer World Cup forks, Vivid RC2 shock, DT Swiss wheels, a full X0 package, including the carbon DH cranks and the new X0 Trail brakes, it’s a damned good deal when you break it down!
With three complete bikes in the range, this is the entry level Glory 2, which at this point I don’t think will be available in the UK. There is a Glory 1, which is one model above this one and will be hitting your local Giant dealer in the UK very soon at a retail price of £3499.99 and featuring a race ready spec with a full Rock Shox livery and yeah, this bike will be putting riders on podiums at races near you very soon!
